When adding a prayer, turn on Recurring and choose how often (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). When you later edit a recurring prayer, we'll ask whether your change applies to just this one, this and future occurrences, or the whole series.
Open the prayer and tap Mark as Complete. For recurring prayers, we'll ask whether to complete just this one, this and future, or the whole series. Alternatively slide right to complete any prayer on the main page or from search results, statistics, or categories.
Open the prayer, tap edit, and toggle the completed state off. Alternatively, slide right on the prayer in any list and tap Undo. For recurring prayers, we'll ask whether the change applies to just this one, this and future, or the whole series.
Open the prayer and tap Share to Group, then choose which group to share it with. The prayer becomes visible to everyone in that group.
Most Wanted is a dedicated list for salvation prayers. To add a prayer, open it and tap Add to Most Wanted. Your Most Wanted list is private to you.
Yes. Your prayers are cached on your device, so you can read and add them without a connection. Anything you add offline will sync automatically the next time you open the app online.
Tap the Groups tab, then tap the add group icon in the top right. How many groups you can create and how many members each can hold depends on your plan — see Plans & Subscriptions below.
Yes, and it depends on your plan. Free accounts can join up to 3 groups created by others, Lifted Groups raises that to 20, and Lifted Community raises it to 40. This is separate from the groups you create yourself — creating your own groups doesn't count toward the join limit.
Member capacity is set by the group owner's plan: up to 10 members on Lifted Free, 50 members on Lifted Groups, and 250 members on Lifted Community. If a group is full, the owner will need to upgrade their plan before more people can join.
No. Only the person who owns the group needs a paid plan if they want more than the free limits. If your pastor or small-group leader has Lifted Community, you can join their 250-member group on a Free account — you just won't be able to create large groups of your own without upgrading.
On the Groups list, tap the ⋯ menu next to the group and choose Invite Members. Share the QR code or join code with the people you'd like to invite.
Open the group and tap the people icon in the top-right toolbar. You'll see everyone in the group with their profile picture and role.
Group admins only: on the Groups list, tap the ⋯ menu next to the group and choose Edit Group. Update the name, then pick a new emoji.
On the Groups list, tap the ⋯ menu next to the group and choose Leave Group. Your prayers may remain visible to other members unless you delete them before leaving.
Group admins only: open the group, tap the people icon to see Members, then tap a member to promote them to Admin, demote them, or remove them from the group.
Group admins only: on the Groups list, tap the ⋯ menu next to the group and choose Delete Group. This removes the group and all of its prayers for everyone — it cannot be undone.
On a group prayer, tap the "X people have prayed" button to see the list of names and profile pictures of everyone who has prayed for it.
Go to Settings → Profile and tap the avatar circle. You can pick a photo from your library or take a new one. Tap it again to remove it.
In Settings, turn on the Daily Reminder toggle and pick a time. Lifted will send you a gentle notification each day at that time.
Check your internet connection and pull down to refresh on the prayer list. If the issue persists, try signing out and back in from Settings.
Check that notifications are enabled for Lifted in your device Settings, and make sure you're signed in with an internet connection. Disabling notifications doesn't affect your ability to use the app.
There are three plans. Every plan includes the full prayer journal, reminders, Most Wanted list, sync, and group participation — plans only differ in how many groups you can create and join, and how large your own groups can be.

Lifted Free is effectively the trial — you can use the full app, create 2 groups, join 3, and keep prayer records as long as you like at no cost. Upgrade only when your church or community outgrows the Free limits.
Yes, but only in a good way. The group owner's plan sets the maximum number of members allowed in that group. Members themselves don't need a paid plan to participate — they can pray, comment, and share within any group they've been invited to, regardless of their own plan.
Nothing is deleted. Your existing groups, memberships, and members all stay put. You simply won't be able to create new groups or invite new members beyond your new plan's limits until you're back within them — or until you upgrade again.
Open the app, go to the Groups tab and tap the add or join button — or try to create a group beyond your current limit. The paywall screen lets you pick monthly or annual, and switch between Lifted Groups and Lifted Community.
Open the app, go to Groups, and tap the add or join button. On the paywall screen, tap Restore Purchases at the bottom.
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. On iPhone go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android go to Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Go to Settings → Export My Data. This downloads a copy of all your prayers, comments and activity.
Yes. Your personal prayers are only visible to you. Group prayers are visible to group members only. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Go to Settings → Forget Me / Delete Account in the app. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data immediately. If you can't access the app, use the contact form below.
