Your privacy matters. This page explains what information Lifted collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple — we collect only what we need to make the app work.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your prayer requests for advertising purposes.

Notifications

Push notifications.

Lifted uses push notifications to alert you when group members add prayer requests, leave comments, or pray for a request. To deliver notifications we use:

You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the app.

Device tokens are deleted from our servers when you sign out of the app or delete your account.

Storage

Where your data is stored.

Your data is stored securely on Microsoft Azure servers located in Denmark. Prayer requests are also cached locally on your device using SQLite for offline access. Authentication is handled by Microsoft Entra. Push notifications are delivered via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

Groups

Prayer groups.

Prayer groups are shared spaces. When you join or create a group, any prayer requests you add to that group are visible to all current and future members of that group. Your display name is shown alongside everything you post.

You should treat group prayer requests with the same discretion you would any sensitive personal matter shared in a faith community. Do not share information about third parties — such as prayer requests on behalf of others — without their knowledge or consent.

Group administrators can remove members and delete prayers. If you leave a group, your prayers may remain visible to remaining members unless explicitly deleted beforehand. If you want your prayers removed from a group, delete them before leaving.

Lifted is not responsible for how other group members use or share information posted within a group. Choose your groups carefully and only join groups where you trust the other members.

Billing

Subscriptions.

Lifted offers three plans: a free tier (Lifted Free), and two paid tiers (Lifted Groups and Lifted Community) available on monthly or annual subscriptions. Paid plans unlock higher limits for how many groups you can create, join, and how many members those groups may have — details are shown on the Pricing page and in Plans & Subscriptions.

Subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not see or store your payment details. Subscription status is managed via RevenueCat, which tells the app which tier you are entitled to.

Retention

Data retention.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and prayer requests will be removed from our servers within 30 days. Device tokens are deleted immediately upon sign-out or account deletion. Group prayers you have added may be retained in anonymised form if other group members have interacted with them.

Account

Deleting your account and data.

You can permanently delete your Lifted account and all associated data directly from within the app. Go to Settings → Forget Me / Delete Account. This will immediately remove your account, all your prayer requests, group memberships, device tokens, your profile picture, and any other personal data from our servers. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you'd like to remove just your profile picture without deleting your account, you can do so at any time in Settings → Profile.

If you are unable to access the app, you can also request account deletion using the contact form below and we will process your request within 30 days.

Children

Children's privacy.

Lifted is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the form below and we will delete it promptly.

Changes

Changes to this policy.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
