Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information Lifted collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple — we collect only what we need to make the app work.

Who We Are

What Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Lifted:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign in via Microsoft authentication
• Prayer requests — the prayer requests you create, including titles, descriptions, categories and contacts you enter
• Group data — if you use prayer groups, we store group membership, group prayers, comments and prayer activity
• Usage data — basic app usage information to help us fix bugs and improve the app

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Lifted app and its features
• Sync your prayer requests across your devices
• Enable prayer group functionality so members can share requests
• Improve the app and fix issues
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your prayer requests for advertising purposes.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored securely on Microsoft Azure servers located in Canada. Prayer requests are also cached locally on your device using SQLite for offline access. Authentication is handled by Microsoft Entra.

Prayer Groups

If you join or create a prayer group, the prayer requests you add to that group will be visible to other members of that group. Your display name will be shown alongside your prayers. Please be mindful of what you share in group settings.

Subscriptions

Premium group features are available via a monthly or annual subscription. Subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment details. Subscription management is handled via RevenueCat.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and prayer requests will be removed from our servers within 30 days. Group prayers you have added may be retained in anonymised form if other group members have interacted with them.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your prayer data

Deleting Your Account and Data

You can permanently delete your Lifted account and all associated data directly from within the app. Go to Settings → Forget Me / Delete Account. This will immediately remove your account, all your prayer requests, group memberships, and any other personal data from our servers. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you are unable to access the app, you can also request account deletion by emailing support@lifted-prayer.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Lifted is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
